Job Summary
This role involves supporting the operational management of a biogas combined heat and power (CHP) plant and its associated district heating network. The successful candidate will perform minor maintenance and repair tasks on the biogas CHP unit, provide technical assistance for plant operations, and conduct regular inspections and documentation of plant conditions. They will also contribute to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, manage customer transfer stations within the district heating network, and assist with expansion and optimization projects. This position is ideal for someone with a technical background, a hands-on approach, and a desire to work in the renewable energy sector, offering a modern work environment and opportunities for independent work.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training, preferably in Electrical/Electrotechnical, Mechatronics, Heating/Climate Technology, or comparable fields
Experience
- Initial experience in CHP, biogas plants, and/or district heating is advantageous
- Technical understanding and enjoyment of practical work
- Independent, structured, and reliable work ethic
- Teamwork ability and willingness for occasional on-call duty
