Job Summary

This role involves the crucial setup and activation of complex technical systems, requiring a skilled Technician specialized in commissioning. Day-to-day responsibilities include the assembly, precise adjustment, and initial startup of advanced technical plants, conducting thorough test runs, and optimizing system performance. A significant aspect of the job is direct customer interaction, coordinating testing and installation procedures on-site, and providing expert training to customer personnel on operation, handling, and maintenance. Candidates must possess a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology, coupled with practical experience in commissioning or maintenance. The position requires fundamental knowledge of electrical, control, and automation technology, ideally including PLC or process control systems. This is an attractive opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on technical work and international travel, as worldwide assignments (approximately 6–12 weeks per year) are required.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or Industrial Electrics (e.g., as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Electrician), Additional qualification as a state-certified Technician is advantageous.
