Job Summary

This role seeks an Industrial Engineer for the electrical manufacturing division of Schmitt + Sohn Aufzüge, a leading international elevator manufacturer. The core responsibility involves the industrialization of new products through close collaboration with R&D, Purchasing, and Technology departments. Day-to-day activities include creating and adapting manufacturing instructions, work plans, and product data within the ERP system, alongside designing and optimizing work systems, production lines, and material flows. The engineer will be crucial in implementing efficient production processes, conducting workplace analyses, and standardizing assembly processes using Lean methods. Furthermore, the position requires analyzing energy consumption, evaluating sustainable technologies, and utilizing AI methods to enhance quality control. The role also encompasses leading technical optimization projects and performing make-or-buy analyses. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology, combined with experience in process optimization and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
