Job Summary
Join a leading international producer of activated carbon for industrial gas and water purification, focused on sustainability, as a Laboratory Technician/Research Assistant in Research and Development. This role involves operating and setting up pilot plants for the physical activation of carbons, specifically managing batch and continuous flow furnaces. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and controlling measurement and operating technology (temperatures, pressures, flow rates, gas mixtures), meticulously collecting and processing measurement data, and conducting detailed physical product analysis (sieve analysis, densities, porosimetry, elemental analysis). The ideal candidate possesses a technical background, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office and laboratory information systems, contributing directly to the development of new, sustainable products in a supportive, family-like work environment with short decision-making paths.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Physical Technical Assistant, Physics Laboratory Technician, Bachelor of Applied Physics, or Physical Engineering
Experience
- Professional experience in setting up and operating experimental facilities
