Job Summary

Join a dynamic engineering and IT family-owned company as a Laboratory Engineer specializing in Polymer Materials, focusing on material and component testing for Powertrain applications. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting, evaluating, and interpreting chemical-physical analyses according to relevant factory standards and testing instructions. Key daily tasks include planning and executing material validation for components, and providing testing support for component findings and damage analyses, particularly on parts made from polymeric materials. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemistry, Materials Technology, or Materials Science, possesses fundamental knowledge of polymer materials and their manufacturing technologies, and has experience with chemical-physical analysis methods. Strong technical understanding, ideally within the context of vehicle manufacturing, along with fluent German (B2+) and good English skills are essential for success in this challenging and rewarding position.
