This critical role involves service and commissioning activities focused on control and safety technology software for operational centers and control stations within Siemens Mobility. After comprehensive training, the specialist will primarily be responsible for verifying software components against customer requirements in a dedicated test center, executing test scenarios, and managing test plans. Following successful testing, the position transitions to on-site commissioning, including installation tasks at customer locations across Germany. Day-to-day duties also include coordinating work schedules with clients and managing data input on customer systems collaboratively with the team. This position requires a background in electro-technology or mechatronics, strong German and good English skills, and a willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50%) throughout Germany, making it ideal for a proactive professional seeking a dynamic role in railway and mobility technology.

Required Skills

Education

Vocational training in electro-technology (e.g., Electronics Technician for Operational Technology) and further training as a Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
