Job Summary

This role is for a technically proficient 2nd Level IT Support Specialist responsible for the administration and maintenance of robust Windows and Linux server environments. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing, resolving, and escalating complex technical incidents within the IT infrastructure, covering networks, servers, and collaboration solutions like Office365 and MS Teams. You will play a crucial role in ensuring stable operations by conducting thorough root cause analysis, implementing security policies (EDR, SIEM), and optimizing system performance using monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Checkmk). The specialist will also contribute to strategic IT projects, including system rollouts, migrations, and automation initiatives using tools like Ansible or PowerShell. Success requires current expertise in operating systems, networking, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and a commitment to continuous learning and data security. Fluent German (C1 level minimum) is a mandatory requirement for effective communication and collaboration within the team.
