Job Summary

This role seeks a technically proficient professional to provide advanced 2nd Level support and administration for complex Windows and/or Linux environments. The specialist will be crucial in ensuring stable and efficient IT operations by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical malfunctions across the IT infrastructure, including networks and server systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include system monitoring using tools like SolarWinds or Checkmk, implementing security policies (EDR, Firewall management), and contributing to documentation and process optimization (Jira, Confluence). You will collaborate closely with 1st and 3rd Level Support teams and participate in significant IT development projects, such as migrations and automation initiatives using tools like Ansible and PowerShell. Key requirements include current expertise in Windows and Linux OS, network infrastructure knowledge, and familiarity with collaboration solutions like Office 365/MS Teams. This permanent position requires excellent German language skills (C1 minimum) and a willingness to travel for project work.
