Job Summary
This pivotal role involves driving sustainable innovation by screening and developing novel materials and technologies for biocidal encapsulation, focusing specifically on biodegradable polymers to meet stringent regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will design and optimize suitable encapsulation processes, formulate final products, and lead the prototyping and characterization of selected systems in close collaboration with application engineering. The position demands a blend of conceptual work and hands-on laboratory and pilot plant experimentation. Key responsibilities also include protecting developments through patent applications and ensuring smooth process transfer to production. This is an excellent opportunity for a chemist with deep expertise in polymer chemistry and encapsulation to contribute to a leading specialty chemical group, requiring strong teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and fluency in both German and English.

Experience
- Several years of professional experience in encapsulation
- Experience collaborating with production operations, particularly regarding the transfer of products/processes into production
