Job Summary

This critical leadership role involves the technical management of a dedicated software project team, encompassing both Development and Test Engineers, focused on complex aerospace systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining tasks, tracking KPIs, and acting as the primary internal and external representative for the project. A core focus is ensuring regulatory compliance by creating and managing planning and certification documentation according to RTCA DO-178C standards, making previous experience in aerospace software development essential. The successful candidate will also manage change control boards, coordinate infrastructure definition (tools, licenses), and serve as the crucial interface between internal departments (Systems, Electronics, Simulator Construction) and external sub-suppliers. This position requires strong leadership skills, proficiency in both traditional and agile methodologies, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities in both German and English.
