Job Summary

This role involves the full development lifecycle of embedded software components for critical aviation applications. The developer will focus on the design, integration, and optimization of software utilizing a real-time operating system (RTOS). Key responsibilities include implementing communication interfaces, analyzing and implementing operating system-near software such as device drivers and kernel modules, and conducting thorough software reviews (requirements analysis and design). A strong background in embedded programming, particularly with hardware-near C programming and microcontroller systems, is required. Crucially, the candidate must possess experience and knowledge of software development standards specific to aviation, such as DO-178. This position requires a high degree of independence in implementing technical requirements and excellent communication skills in both German and English to coordinate tasks and document results.
