Job Summary

This role involves designing and implementing safety-certified control software (SIL2) in accordance with IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include object-oriented software development using C#, C, and C++, designing and documenting software architecture, and integrating the CODESYS Runtime environment. The architect will also be responsible for requirements engineering, creating UML diagrams, and performing verification and validation activities such as code reviews and static code analysis (MISRA standards). Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, several years of professional experience, ideally within safety-critical systems, and strong proficiency in both German and English.
