Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Embedded Linux Software Developer to drive the development, support, and maintenance of core platform components for embedded Linux-based products, primarily within control technology. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing robust software solutions, actively contributing to the overall software architecture, and providing essential support during system integration and conceptualization. The developer will also be involved in the commissioning and evaluation of hardware prototypes. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification, coupled with extensive professional experience in embedded Linux development and hardware-near programming. Essential technical knowledge includes proficiency in C/C++ and practical experience with the Yocto Project (Bitbake, Recipes, Layer). Success in this role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical content effectively, supported by fluent German (C1) and good English skills.
