Job Summary

This role involves serving as a System Engineer specializing in platform development for mission systems within the defense sector. The core responsibility is translating complex customer and contractual requirements into technical concepts, including Epics and User Stories, and defining the overall system architecture. Day-to-day tasks include extensive system-wide troubleshooting and error analysis, alongside the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both physical and virtual Windows Server and Client environments. A crucial aspect of this position is the automation of infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like DSC and scripting languages such as PowerShell, leveraging container technologies like Docker. Candidates must possess a university degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, coupled with multi-year professional experience in system/software development and IaC. Fluency in both German and English is a mandatory requirement for effective communication and negotiation.
