System Engineer Mission Systems Defence | Systemingenieur Missionssysteme Defence (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves designing and conceptualizing system architectures for defence mission systems, translating customer and contractual requirements into technical concepts such as Epics and User Stories. The System Engineer will be responsible for internal coordination, estimating technical implementation across teams, and proving solution ideas through technical breakthroughs. A key aspect of the role is acting as the primary technical interface with the customer, including on-site visits, regarding all concept and development issues. The position also requires specifying, creating, and utilizing system interfaces for mission planning and third-party systems, performing system-wide fault analysis and troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with security and encryption requirements. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with professional experience in system and software development, and proficiency in both German and English.
