Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Systems Engineer to drive the development and architecture of a critical simulation framework within the Defence sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing modular and scalable architectures for framework components, and drafting detailed technical specifications. A core function involves the integration and commissioning of individual components into complex simulation environments, requiring close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams spanning software, hardware, and system engineering. The successful candidate will also manage and coordinate external subcontractors and service providers, lending technical expertise to proposal activities. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, over five years of relevant experience, and proven expertise in container-based systems using technologies like Docker or Podman. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for effective communication and negotiation.
