Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Systems Engineer responsible for the installation, operation, and continuous development of critical Windows Server environments within the highly regulated Defense sector. Key daily tasks involve comprehensive Active Directory management, including defining roles, permissions, and Group Policies, alongside the administration of essential network services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, Hyper-V, and WSUS. A crucial aspect of the job is implementing stringent IT security concepts (e.g., BSI-Grundschutz) and automating routine tasks using scripting tools like PowerShell. The position requires a high degree of travel readiness for on-site rollouts, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance at customer locations. Successful candidates must hold a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, possess over three years of relevant professional experience in Windows Server administration, and be fluent in both German and English.
