Job Summary

This Tooling Engineer role involves critical activities in the lifecycle of manufacturing fixtures and tools, focusing on technical analysis, design validation, and standardization within production concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing, evaluating, and approving tooling requirements, providing technical consultation, creating and releasing design datasets, conducting market analysis, and leading technical projects. The role requires managing the supplier interface, including technical assessment, selection, and accompanying them through manufacturing acceptance. The ideal candidate possesses a technical qualification, such as an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Aerospace) or Master Craftsman certification, and multi-year experience in engineering, production, and project management. Crucially, candidates must have long-term experience in designing fixtures specifically for composite manufacturing. Proficiency with specialized tools like Catia V5 and SAP is essential, alongside a structured and self-reliant approach to work, making this a pivotal role in defining and implementing state-of-the-art tooling standards.
