Job Summary

This role involves managing and coordinating complex approval processes for major grid expansion projects, specifically focusing on substations and transmission line connections within Northern Germany. The Permitting Planner will be responsible for creating work packages, preparing and managing necessary authorization procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A key aspect of the role is stakeholder management, including coordinating external service providers, acting as the interface between internal departments, and negotiating with public authorities, municipalities, and property owners. Candidates should possess a background in environmental studies, geography, or spatial planning, coupled with experience in infrastructure project permitting, strong negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel regionally.

Education

University degree in Environmental Studies, Geography, Spatial Planning, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in managing authorization processes for infrastructure projects
  • Experience interacting and negotiating with public authorities, municipalities, or private property owners
