Job Summary

This role focuses on the object-oriented development and implementation of PLC software specifically designed for custom, special-purpose machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating unique customer systems, creating tailored, customer-oriented visualizations, and ensuring seamless integration of these machines into existing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Plant Data Collection (BDE) systems. A core aspect of the job involves conducting rigorous program and system tests to guarantee reliable performance and ensuring overall software quality through continuous improvement of code and functional scope. This position requires a strong technical affinity and foundational knowledge in automation, drive, and control technologies. Candidates should possess a relevant engineering degree and initial practical experience in commissioning special machinery, ideally utilizing tools like Beckhoff TwinCAT 3.
