Job Summary

This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing robust data pipelines to ingest and transform large datasets from various sources like Dynamics, Fileshares, and SQL databases. The engineer will focus on boosting the performance of Spark jobs across all data layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and modernizing existing Power BI reports by migrating them into a new Fabric-based Lakehouse architecture. Key responsibilities also include ensuring the operational readiness of data integration processes using Microsoft Fabric, continuously improving existing notebook solutions (e.g., Azure Databricks, PySpark), and actively monitoring the data platform to guarantee data integrity through proactive alerting. This position requires a strong background in Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and cloud data services, offering an opportunity to work on cutting-edge data architecture in a collaborative team environment, with required weekly presence in Ulm or Stuttgart.
