Job Summary

This role as an Operations Technician focuses on ensuring the economical and legally compliant operation of district heating networks, contributing directly to the energy transition. Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and repair on critical network components such as shut-off valves, drainage systems, and shaft structures. You will execute hydraulic switching operations, participate in new construction and repair projects during network shutdowns, and meticulously document all work while adhering strictly to safety and environmental standards. The position requires comfort working outdoors, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures year-round. Candidates must possess technical vocational training in plant construction, mechanical engineering, or as a heating installer/industrial mechanic, along with a valid driver's license. Initial professional experience in district heating is highly desirable.
