Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Master Electrician or Electrical Engineering Technician passionate about operating and maintaining power grids, specifically substations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation and digitalization of the MITNETZ STROM network, one of the largest regional distribution network operators in Eastern Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical guidance to assigned staff, organizing operational processes, and overseeing construction and maintenance measures for substations. The position involves coordinating directly with specialist colleagues, external partner companies, and project management, acting as a vital link between planning and operational implementation. Key qualifications include a completed Master Electrician or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, ideally combined with professional experience in the power grid sector and a 110 kV switching authorization.
