Job Summary

This role is for a highly driven Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to take full product design responsibility for automotive High Voltage (HV) battery products, from initial concept through to production launch and ramp. The engineer will focus on advancing product performance, reducing cost and mass, and developing new technologies while ensuring the highest standards of performance, quality, and manufacturability. Key activities include 3D CAD design, hands-on prototyping, meticulous release of 2D drawings, defining specifications, and supporting testing and analysis. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals in heat transfer, mechanics, and fluids, coupled with experience in high-volume manufacturing processes like injection molding and metal stamping. Success requires resilience, self-motivation, and close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
