Job Summary

The Utilities Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of media systems vital for pharmaceutical production, including climate and energy centers. Day-to-day tasks involve supporting operating engineers, independently executing maintenance, servicing, and repair work on utility plants, and coordinating external contractors to ensure all tasks are executed safely and on schedule. A key focus is promoting strong cross-functional cooperation between the Utilities department and Production, while adhering strictly to Quality, Safety, and GMP requirements. Candidates must possess a completed technical qualification, such as a Mechatronics Technician or Plant Mechanic, coupled with practical experience in utilities, building technology, or the pharmaceutical sector. Strong communication skills and a high sense of responsibility are essential for success in this permanent role.

Completed technical training (e.g., Mechatronics Technician, Plant Mechanic, Electrician, or comparable qualification)

Experience

  • Professional experience in Utilities, Building Technology, or pharmaceutical production (advantageous)
  • Knowledge in maintenance, servicing, and fault resolution of technical systems
  • Experience in a GMP environment (ideal)
