Job Summary
This leadership role is critical for driving innovation in Germany by connecting key stakeholders across industry and research, specifically focusing on Software and AI. The Head of Technology Transfer will be responsible for expanding and maintaining a high-quality network, proactively acquiring new partners, and establishing long-term collaborations. Key activities include initiating, applying for, and leading joint projects, managing Software Summits, and developing strategic innovation proposals for top-tier companies. The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, comprehensive IT competence in areas like software development, AI, and process automation, and the ability to strategically shape the innovation platform, including developing new business models and ensuring the profitability of the Software Lab. This position, based in Bad Vilbel, Hessen, offers an opportunity for autonomous work within flat hierarchies and a focus on strengthening Germany's technological standing.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree, preferably with a focus on economics or information technology, or comparable qualification. A doctorate is advantageous.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role (e.g., at a research institute or as a project manager in private industry)
- Professional experience in network expansion and partner acquisition
- Professional experience managing projects, events, and workshops
