Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Java Software Developer to join one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers, driving digitalization within the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. The developer will be responsible for the architectural design, new development, and enhancement of business processes, services, and workflows using Java and JavaScript. Key activities include taking ownership of complex projects from analysis and design through to implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment. The position also involves acting as a technical contact for product owners and managers, steering technical topics within the development team, ensuring quality assurance, optimizing performance, and providing last-level support for developed components. Candidates must have a minimum of six years of professional experience in Java and JavaScript development, coupled with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, and familiarity with modern development tools.
