Job Summary

This role involves acting as an IT Application Specialist focused on Quality Assurance within a large, globally active client in the Nuremberg region. The specialist will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the measurement data software "PALEDO," serving as the primary technical contact for inquiries. Key duties include ensuring the software's availability and functionality in the production environment, developing and implementing interfaces between measuring devices and the software (using technologies like OPC UA or REST-APIs), and integrating measurement technology smoothly into the existing IT landscape in collaboration with production teams and external service providers. Furthermore, the specialist will create and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau for visualizing and evaluating production and quality data, analyze production data to identify optimization potential using Data Science methods, and manage the introduction and training for new IT tools.
