Job Summary

This role is ideal for a passionate Open Source System Administrator who is eager to build and maintain modern, self-hosted, open-source infrastructures, offering alternatives to proprietary cloud solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing non-Microsoft alternatives (such as Linux, Nextcloud, and Univention), developing technical standards and deployment concepts to ensure security and quality, and managing the deployment and maintenance of self-hosted solutions. The successful candidate will leverage strong communication skills to analyze customer requirements and guide them toward digital sovereignty without sacrificing comfort. Key requirements include a deep passion for the Linux environment, proficiency with the command line, strong networking knowledge (Routing, VLANs, Subnetting, Firewalls), and a valid Class B driver's license for on-site customer support.
