Job Summary

This role as an Electronics Development Engineer specializing in Test and Prototyping is crucial for developing and quality-assuring innovative control and drive solutions, particularly in the e-mobility sector. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for building and commissioning prototypes, creating detailed test specifications, and executing rigorous system, electrical, EMC, and environmental tests according to industry standards. A key part of the job involves adapting schematics and layouts for complex analog and digital power electronics assemblies moving toward series production, and researching new components for qualification. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and possesses strong practical skills in electronics craftsmanship (soldering, rework), coupled with expertise in power electronics, control engineering, and measurement technology. Experience with circuit design tools like Altium Designer is required. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or completed Technician training

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development of analog and digital circuit technology or power electronics
  • Experience using tools for circuit design and layout (e.g., Altium Designer)
  • Experience in conducting EMC tests according to relevant standards
  • Proven strong skills in electronics craftsmanship (soldering, crimping, rework)
  • Desirable: Experience using simulation tools (Spice, Plecs, Matlab/Simulink, Simplorer)
