Job Summary
This role involves joining the Power Electronics and Grid Integration group in Bremerhaven, focusing on the grid integration of wind turbines and hybrid parks. The Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of medium and low-voltage electrical systems, including planning, procurement support, and system modification. A key component of the job is ensuring the flawless operation of test benches through meticulous planning, monitoring, and documentation of maintenance activities. The successful candidate will coordinate work packages with technicians, provide technical support, and occasionally perform wiring tasks. The role includes training to become a Qualified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft), participation in switching operations and electrical integrations, and eventually leading industry projects and conducting international measurement campaigns. This position is ideal for graduates or professionals with a background in Electrical, Energy, or Control Engineering who enjoy a hands-on approach and wish to specialize in wind energy systems.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (with relevant specialization). Electrotechnical vocational training is beneficial.
Experience
- Completed university degree in Electrical, Energy, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (with relevant focus)
- Basic knowledge of power electronics, medium-voltage systems, and switchgear is required
- Experience as a Qualified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft) is beneficial, but not required
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or a related field is beneficial, but suitable for career entry
