Job Summary

This role involves designing, operating, and securing the technical foundation of the Software Factory used by the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The Engineer will work in agile DevSecOps teams, focusing on the continuous improvement of automation, standardization, and security measures. Key responsibilities include planning and automating infrastructure services compliant with strict security guidelines (BSI-Grundschutz), managing container and virtualization platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware), and handling networking, security integration, monitoring (SIEM, Elastic), and hardware integration. Candidates must possess a relevant degree or vocational qualification, at least two years of experience with complex data center or cloud infrastructures, and deep expertise in areas like Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Python) or container platforms.
