Job Summary

The Technical University of Chemnitz is seeking an IT Cross-Sectional Tasks Coordinator to join the "Lifecycle eStudent File (LieSa)" project, focusing on building the Digital University Archive Saxony (DIHAS) and utilizing the DIMAG software solution for long-term digital archiving. This role involves coordinating developers, operators, and partners, organizing information exchange formats, and managing the central network infrastructure (including xWiki, GitLab, and test systems). Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and handling 2nd-level support requests and contributing to critical areas like containerization and IT security (BSI IT Baseline Protection). The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, possesses strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, and has experience developing complex software and distributed systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work autonomously on a widely adopted software system within the archiving community in an interdisciplinary and supportive team environment.
