Job Summary
This role involves taking a central, responsible position in the technical support and development of electrical systems, including associated remote control technology, within the renewable energy sector. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis on high and medium-voltage systems, substations, and generation units (wind/PV). A core part of the job is the integration and development of SCADA and communication systems, including setting up network infrastructure, conducting signal tests, and managing remote control technology (VPN, routers, protocols). The ideal candidate possesses a technical background in electrical engineering (Technician, Master, or degree level), fundamental knowledge of high/medium-voltage technology, experience with SCADA integration, and strong organizational skills to coordinate external service providers and ensure compliance with relevant standards (DIN VDE, DGUV). The position requires significant travel and a high degree of personal responsibility and safety awareness.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training (e.g., Electrical Technician, Master Electrician) or a degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- Professional experience in high and medium voltage technology
- Experience handling circuit diagrams, fault diagnosis, and remote control technology
- Experience in network technology, VPN, router configuration, and SCADA systems
- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems (substations, transfer stations) (Advantageous)
- Experience with switching authorization for medium or high voltage (Advantageous)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel (including multi-day trips); Driver's license Class B (ideally BE); Residence in Berlin or surrounding area; Physical suitability for working at heights; Operating authorization for work/lifting platforms (desirable).
