Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician or Mechatronics Technician to join a reputable rail vehicle manufacturer in Berlin Pankow on a permanent contract. The role focuses heavily on ensuring the functionality and safety of rail vehicles through rigorous testing and diagnostics. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting functional tests of subsystems and complete vehicles based on wiring diagrams, executing test instructions according to schedule, and meticulously documenting all results in test protocols. You will be responsible for complex fault diagnosis, determining the scope of necessary repairs, and performing those repairs. Furthermore, the role involves installing and testing vehicle software, supporting vehicle acceptance procedures, and assisting with shunting activities. Ideal candidates possess a background in electrical engineering and, preferably, initial experience commissioning rail vehicles.
