R&D Specialist, Aerosol Technology | Laborfachkraft / CTA (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role seeks an expert in aerosol technology, specifically focusing on the compatibility and stability of product formulations within their packaging (steel and aluminum aerosol cans). Day-to-day responsibilities involve performing crucial technical analyses, including Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy, detailed corrosion analysis, and various wet chemical tests (e.g., pH, water content, chloride). The specialist manages comprehensive storage tests to determine product shelf life, monitoring for critical issues like corrosion, delamination, and leakage. Furthermore, the role supports internal qualification processes, contributes to selecting appropriate packaging for clients, and assists production teams in resolving complex customer complaints and quality issues. The ideal candidate must possess a background as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA) or equivalent, coupled with fundamental knowledge in chemistry, corrosion, and electrochemistry, and ideally two years of relevant professional experience. Success requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to standardize and validate new testing methodologies within an international matrix environment.
