Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PLC Programmer to join a team focused on developing a novel elevator system. The role involves optimizing and further developing the existing base program for a prototype plant, utilizing WAGO PLCs programmed with CodeSys and Structured Text (IEC 61131-3). Day-to-day tasks include implementing complex control functions such as precise positioning using incremental measuring systems, PID control for maintaining speed, and managing safety-critical functions like emergency stops and redundant safety circuits. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience, ideally with knowledge of European elevator standards (EN 81-20 / EN 81-50). The position offers full-time, permanent employment, split between the Berlin office and various construction sites, focusing on sophisticated motion and safety control systems.
