Job Summary

This full-time, fixed-term role (up to 12 months) requires a dedicated IT Specialist to manage and maintain the entire IT infrastructure for G.I.B., a subsidiary of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The specialist will serve as the primary contact for technical issues, executing First and partial Second-Level Support for computers, servers, printing systems, and network security. Key responsibilities include planning and executing hardware and software rollouts, ensuring robust backup management, maintaining system updates, and administering critical environments like Active Directory and MS365. Furthermore, the role involves contributing to digitization projects, monitoring security solutions (Unified Threat Management), and conducting small-scale user training. The ideal candidate must have a completed IT specialist apprenticeship and strong technical expertise, coupled with a structured, service-oriented approach and high discretion regarding administrative access.
