We are seeking an experienced software developer, available on a project basis, to finalize and customize existing control software for a fireplace system. This role involves analyzing and enhancing the current software, adapting it to meet specific customer requirements, and ensuring comprehensive technical documentation is created for the end-user. Key responsibilities include working with embedded systems, specifically the ESP32 hardware, and utilizing C/C++ within the Visual Studio Code environment. Proficiency in communication protocols like I²C and SPI, along with basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), is essential. This position requires a self-reliant and dependable professional capable of delivering high-quality, structured documentation.
