Job Summary

This role is for an Embedded Software Developer focused on designing and implementing firmware for intelligent, Unix-based energy management systems, contributing directly to future energy transition efforts. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent development of firmware, selecting and evaluating suitable hardware components, and integrating external interfaces for data acquisition and control. The developer will also evaluate various communication protocols (M-Bus, Modbus, BACnet), conceptualize measurement data management for the cloud backend, and implement switching and control logic. A key part of the job involves creating a user-friendly HMI as a web application for external display. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Embedded Systems, possesses experience in complex firmware projects, and is proficient in Java, Python, C++, SQL, HTML, and CSS. This position offers an unlimited contract and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment bridging hardware and software.
