Head of Analytical Development Pharmaceutical | Chemist (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This senior leadership role requires defining and implementing the global strategy for Analytical Development Pharmaceuticals, overseeing the newly created department and aligning its direction with the global Development strategy. The Head will be responsible for all aspects of Drug Substance and Drug Product characterization, including method development, validation, and stability studies, ensuring seamless transfer to Operations. Key responsibilities involve leading core functional areas like preformulation and quality control, driving strategic goals across worldwide New Chemical Entity (NCE) projects, and ensuring all analytical methods meet stringent global regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, EU approval processes). Candidates must possess a PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a related field, deep expertise in analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, MS), proven experience in NCE drug product development, and several years of leadership managing global teams.
