Job Summary

This role is a Research Associate and Doctoral Candidate position at TU Dresden, situated within the Faculty of Education, focusing specifically on Vocational Pedagogy and Didactics of Chemistry. The successful candidate will be integral to the BMFTR-funded GLOP-E project, which investigates how cooperation between school and external learning locations (like labs and companies) can be made more effective, focusing on sustainable energy education. Daily responsibilities include conducting scientific research, collaborating with interdisciplinary project partners, operationalizing project goals such as analyzing learning offers and optimizing teaching materials at external sites, and analyzing cooperation structures. A core component is performing qualitative and quantitative impact studies (Pre-Post-Follow-Up) focused on variables like student interest and evaluation competence. The position requires a very good university degree in teaching with Physics or a degree in Physics, strong research interest, and proven experience in developing and evaluating extracurricular learning offers. This part-time role (65%) provides a unique opportunity for independent scientific qualification (a PhD) within a supportive, interdisciplinary team dedicated to innovative educational concepts.
