Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Planning Engineer specializing in Electrical Energy Systems (EES), focusing on rail infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will take ownership of exciting projects, managing the planning process from concept through completion (HOAI phases 1 to 9). Core responsibilities include designing Medium and Low Voltage switchgear, electric point heating systems, and lighting systems, ensuring all designs comply with relevant regulations, particularly those set by DB AG. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and ideally bring professional experience either as a specialist planner or within the context of DB AG's overhead line systems or EES. Fluency in German is mandatory for technical communication and compliance work. This is a permanent position offering a flexible work environment (hybrid/remote options) across multiple German locations, emphasizing teamwork and continuous professional development.

Required Skills

Education

Completed University Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field of study

Experience

  • Professional experience as a specialist planner in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
  • Professional experience with overhead line systems or Electrical Energy Systems (EEA) of DB AG (preferred)
  • Experience managing projects through HOAI phases 1 to 9
