Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced Software Developer to join a clinical-stage medical sensor company in Mainz, focusing on data acquisition, analysis, and software solution development within the Laboratory Department. The professional will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing scientific data, developing algorithms, and contributing to database and UX development. A key component of the role involves continuous enhancement of internal software solutions, cross-departmental process optimization, and providing essential on-site IT support, including hardware installation and network management. Candidates must possess a degree in bioinformatics or a comparable scientific field with strong computer science knowledge, coupled with extensive professional experience in software development and specific expertise in R, Python, C, C++, JavaScript, and TypeScript, along with React and database development.

Education
Completed studies (Bachelor or Master) in bioinformatics or a comparable scientific degree with knowledge of computer science
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the field of software development (>5-8 years)
- Multiple years in experience with React framework and web development
- Ideally first professional experience as a data scientist/data analyst

- Responsible for on-site (Mainz) hardware installation, maintenance, and IT asset management.
