Job Summary
This role is ideal for a qualified Dairy Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), or Food/Dairy Technologist looking to join a family-run, internationally operating laboratory in West Allgäu, Germany. The primary focus involves sample management, documentation, and the creation of comprehensive test reports, particularly concerning microbiological and chemical analysis in dairy processing and cheese production. Day-to-day tasks include handling sample intake, ensuring correct investigation parameters are assigned, and communicating results and sample logistics with clients and external service providers. The position requires a strong background in dairy science or food technology/chemistry, proficiency with standard IT applications like MS Office, and the ability to work independently and flexibly. This is a chance to contribute to advanced diagnostics (PCR, Sequencing, Maldi Tof) within an ISO-accredited environment, offering an interesting and varied workplace with flat hierarchies.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in dairy science (Milchwirtschaftlicher Laborant, CTA, BTA) and/or a completed degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry, or Veterinary Medicine.
Experience
- Professional experience is advantageous (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in handling milk industry-related issues
