Job Summary

This role is for an Expert Linux Engineer tasked with elevating the technological solutions for FERCHAU's clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting project teams on the planning, implementation, and optimization of Linux-based IT infrastructure, ensuring a stable and secure system environment, and leading IT operational processes. A key focus is the introduction of technological innovations, implementing security policies for Linux systems, and driving automation using tools like Ansible and Terraform. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, coupled with at least 10 years of professional experience in Linux server administration. Deep knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux, Git, ITIL, and networking technologies is essential, alongside excellent German and English proficiency (C1 level minimum).
