Job Summary

This role involves supporting product development projects from the initial concept phase through to series production readiness. The Design Engineer will be responsible for setting up prototype and test arrangements in a laboratory environment, conducting tests, and validating results. A key part of the job includes generating innovation proposals, assessing their feasibility and benefits, and actively participating in the continuous improvement and cost optimization of existing products. You will also independently troubleshoot issues, escalate problems when necessary, and develop effective solutions. Success in this role requires a completed engineering degree or a technical education combined with certification as a Technician, along with substantial experience using Solid Edge and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. This position offers the chance to work closely with product development and management teams on exciting projects for renowned clients.
