Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Component Manager to handle the critical procurement and management of electronic components for Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) projects. The core function involves strategic negotiation of prices and conditions for electronic parts, supporting detailed quotation calculations, and ensuring supply chain continuity. Day-to-day tasks include selecting suitable suppliers, obtaining competitive offers, and proactively finding alternatives during potential supply bottlenecks. Furthermore, the manager is responsible for maintaining accurate material calculations and creating master data within PLM and ERP systems, specifically Baan. Success in this position requires a strong technical background, ideally a degree in Electrical Engineering or Production Technology, coupled with very good knowledge of the electronic component procurement market and proficiency in MS Office and ERP tools.
