Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious Automotive Hardware Engineer dedicated to advancing technology, specifically within the automotive electronics sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new hardware components, creating and maintaining schematics and layouts using tools like Altium Designer, and performing rigorous testing and validation of developed components. A key focus area involves optimizing existing solutions, particularly in lighting applications using LED diodes and drivers. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to integrate hardware into complex systems, support troubleshooting, and ensure all development processes are meticulously documented according to industry standards such as the V-Model and Automotive SPICE. This position offers the chance to work on exciting projects for leading OEMs and suppliers, requiring a strong technical background in electrical engineering and professional experience in the automotive field.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable field
Experience
- Several years of experience in the automotive environment
- Experience in lighting applications, especially LED diodes and drivers
- Knowledge of processes and standards like V-Model / Automotive SPICE Level
