Job Summary

This role involves working as a Technical Building Equipment Specialist focusing on Electrical Engineering within the Building Management department of the City of Herzogenrath. The specialist will be crucial in interdisciplinary construction projects, collaborating with teams in supply technology and structural engineering across all service phases. Key responsibilities include managing and settling accounts for external architectural and engineering firms, preparing specifications for tenders, independently implementing planning, and conducting on-site construction supervision and coordination of various trades. Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, or Smart Building Engineering, coupled with strong organizational skills, self-reliance, and excellent knowledge of relevant German standards (VDE, VOB, HOAI).
